One of Eugene's most favorite things in the world is karaoke. Me, not so much. Last Friday Eugene wanted to go out to karaoke with a few friends, so I agreed from a timid place of yeah, I probably should do something he wants to do.
The thing about me and karaoke is the once I get there and let loose a little, you can't get the microphone out of my hand. And, uh, this one of the numbers I performed.

And the thing about being a badass rapper is that you can't fake that shit. And you can't try. That only makes it worse. You have to let go and fully embrace everything it means to be a rapper--dance moves, attitude, all of it.
It also transported me back to high school. Driving in my car by myself, blasting my music, singing along, and not apologizing for anything--that sense of invincibility that teenagers have. And ultimately, what I'm present to is that I FINALLY FOUND MY ALTER-EGO: Salt-N-Pepa all the way baby.
So here's Salt-N-Pepa and your dream life asking you:
"Do you really want me, baby? Let me know
'Cause if you really like me I suggest you tell me so
Got no time for silly games, that ain't even why I came
'Cause I may be the kind of guy you like"

In order to create that life of your dreams, you need to not only have clarity, awareness, and motivation, but you need to take action. So here are my actions for you
What's the thing you've been dreaming of but putting off?
Who's your alter-ego? And, what would he/she do about it?
What would your alter ego bring to that thing?
Are you going to go do that thing in the way your alter ego would? Who can you ask to hold you accountable in getting it done?
